1. Beta software — read this first

Canonscribe is in active beta. By using it, you accept:

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or that AI-generated output (digests, analysis, wiki entries, and so on) will be accurate.
  • Your manuscript is stored locally on your device, not backed up on our servers. Export your work regularly. We are not responsible for lost stories.

The Service, including all AI-generated output, is provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. AI can make mistakes — always verify continuity findings against your actual manuscript before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osatari LLC's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or lost manuscripts.

8. Feedback

If you send us feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you agree we can use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. We'll note material changes here with an updated effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
